The Process
Sizing
The first thing we’ll need to decide is the right size for your artwork. I do not currently take commissions for artwork smaller than 24x24 in. If you wish, I can take a look at your space & help you decide!
Environment
It can be helpful for me to see photos of video of the space you’d like the painting to hang in, photos of your interior and/or some information on what type of art you’ve been the most drawn to so I can best serve you with a custom painting.
Feel free to take a look at my “Available Work” page or my Instagram (@galleryartbybrooke) and share with me which art pieces you loved the most. Or, if you have something else in mind, sharing inspiration photos from Pinterest or giving color swatches & palette boards - those can all be wonderful in helping me deliver something that you’ll be absolutely thrilled with. The more insight, the better!

Mock-up
I like to do a brief, initial consultation with you over Zoom, FaceTime or in-person (if local), and during that consult we will finalize details of what you’d like for your commission to make sure we’re on the same page. I will provide some inspiration photos and/or a sketch of what I think will meet your expectations. Once we agree, the painting begins. I typically allow 4-8 weeks for a custom painting.
Pricing
My prices for commissions are based on size and start at about $1,000, with most clients spending around $2,700-5,000 per piece. I request a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin, with the remaining balance, plus shipping, due once your painting is complete.
